These Terms govern your access to and use of PowerTechs. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

PowerTechs ("PowerTechs", "we", "us", or "our") operates the PowerTechs platform, a service that helps military veterans document their skills and connect with employers. References to the "Service" mean the PowerTechs website, applications, and related features.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent your identity, service record, or qualifications.
  • Attempt to circumvent assessments, automate responses, or otherwise undermine the integrity of scoring.
  • Scrape, copy, or resell candidate or employer data outside the features we provide.
  • Use the Service to send spam, harass, or discriminate against others.
  • Interfere with the security or availability of the Service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile information, assessment responses, and messages ("Your Content"). You grant PowerTechs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display Your Content to the extent needed to operate the Service, match you with opportunities, and improve our models. You may delete Your Content or your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Employer obligations

Employers using PowerTechs agree to use candidate information only for legitimate recruiting purposes, to comply with applicable employment laws (including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws), and to protect candidate data using reasonable security practices.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including assessment content, scoring logic, software, and branding, is owned by PowerTechs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

7. Third-party services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example, email providers, analytics, payment processors). We are not responsible for third-party services, and their use is subject to their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PowerTechs does not guarantee employment outcomes or that any specific match will result in a hire.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PowerTechs and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD 100.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for PowerTechs or other users, or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice (for example, by email or an in-product notice). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction], unless otherwise required by applicable law.
