Accessibility Statement

PowerTechs is committed to making our platform usable for every veteran and every employer, regardless of ability or assistive technology.

Last updated: 2026-04-20

Our commitment

We design and build PowerTechs to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

What we are doing

  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks for assistive technologies.
  • Keyboard-only navigation for all interactive elements, with visible focus indicators.
  • Sufficient color contrast in both light and dark themes.
  • Alt text on meaningful images and descriptive labels on form controls and buttons.
  • Scalable typography and layouts that work on small screens and with browser zoom up to 200%.
  • Respect for user preferences such as prefers-reduced-motion and system color scheme.
  • Accessibility reviews during design, development, and before major releases.

Known limitations

PowerTechs is under active development. Some areas, particularly new assessment scenarios and interactive visualizations, may not yet be fully accessible. We are working to resolve these gaps. If you encounter a problem, please let us know so we can prioritize it.

Report an accessibility issue

If you run into a barrier while using PowerTechs — a page you can't reach with a keyboard, a screen reader that misses a label, low-contrast text, or anything else — please email support@powertechs.us with:

  • The page URL where you ran into the issue.
  • A description of the problem.
  • The assistive technology and browser you were using, if relevant.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to resolve critical issues as quickly as possible.

Compatibility

PowerTechs is designed to work with the latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, together with common assistive technologies such as VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, and TalkBack. Older browsers may work, but may not receive the same level of accessibility testing.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you can reach out again at support@powertechs.us and ask for escalation. We treat accessibility feedback as a priority, not a nuisance.
